The Miles Macdonell Buckeyes of the WHSFL are looking to expand their coaching staff. As the program prepares for the 2023 season, we are expecting to either compete in Division 1 of the league, and/or to start a Junior Varsity team. In any situation, we are looking for capable, enthusiastic, and dedicated position coaches.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please reach out directly to Head Coach Dan Washnuk at dwashnuk@retsd.mb.ca with a brief introduction, as well as a concise outline of any relevant (coaching at any level or sport, playing, or work) experience.

Our program considers success to be the development of our individual athletes and in providing opportunities for growth of the students, both on and off the field. If this philosophy reflects your own, please consider applying. Whether you see yourself as an established coach looking to take on responsibility or as a young coach looking for mentorship and development, we may have a role for you. We are also flexible with the needs of our coaches; attending all practices is encouraged but not a necessity, and practices are structured with our coaches’ work schedules as in-mind as possible.

We at the Buckeyes look forward to hearing from you.

The Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Maroons of the WHSFL are looking to add to their coaching staff. In the coming 2023 season, we are expecting to compete in Division 2 of the league, and are preparing for DMCI’s 100th anniversary weekend with a Homecoming game on October 13. Last season we had a healthy-sized roster and would benefit from the addition of capable, enthusiastic, and dedicated position coaches.

If you are interested in coaching with DMCI, please reach out directly to Head Coach Mike Hall at mhall@wsd1.org  with a brief introduction and coaching resume outlining any relevant coaching or non-coaching experience as well as coaching education (certifications, clinics, etc.).

Our program prioritizes the development of our players as students, athletes and positive members of the community. We as a staff engage in regular professional development, attending coaching education in Winnipeg, North Dakota and Minnesota in order to broaden our knowledge base and learn other schools’ best practices.

Our program can work to find roles for coaches with varying levels of experience and availability. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

West Kildonan Wolverines are looking to add to their coaching staff for the upcoming season. We are looking for hard working, dedicated individuals who are looking to volunteer with a highly competitive football program.

This season, West Kildonan will compete in Division 1 or 2 and will look to build on their success of recent years.

Please reach out to Coach Russell Wallace, Russell.Wallace@7oaks.org for more information.
