All workshops will be held in person unless indicated otherwise, and will be hosted at the Sport for Life Centre (Sport Manitoba) 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg – Lower Level Meeting rooms – check at reception for the room number. Virtual workshops will be available for coaches in rural areas that cannot attend in person.  Check with your home program or league for potential dates.  Other NCCP Coach courses/workshops will be scheduled based on interest.

COMPETITION INTRODUCTION – POSITION COACH

MANDATORY FOR ALL COACHES FOR ATHLETES AGE 14-18 YEARS

Competition Introduction clinics are designed for coaches who are currently coaching athletes aged 14 – 18 in contact football. The Position Workshop is a 2 day clinic where coaches are trained in 4 modules:

        THIS WORKSHOP DOES NOT INCLUDE A POSITION MODULE AND IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE POSITION COACH TRAINING.  Coaches must register to attend a Position Workshop separately when available. See Position Modules below for details.

COMPETITION INTRODUCTION – POSITION MODULES

Attending one Position workshop is required to complete the Competition Introduction Workshop.  Position clinics are designed for coaches who are currently coaching athletes aged 14 – 18, but all coaches can attend.

Complete the form for each of the positions you intend to take the NCCP Competition Introduction Positional Module.  This workshop will take approximately 2 hours to complete.

Once we have reached our minimum threshold of coaches intending to take the training, the workshop will be set approximately one month from that milestone. We will reach out to you directly with details at that time, and ask for you to then formally register for the workshop.
