During the summer or 2024, Football Manitoba and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are proud to be offering a special experience for Indigenous tackle football players from Manitoba.
A selected group of 24 young men will be travelling to Edmonton, Alberta to play a game against Indigenous teams from Saskatchewan, Alberta and Northwestern Ontario in 6-aside tackle football. In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, this event will be known as the Indigenous Football Canada U18 Indigenous Men’s National Championship, the first of its kind.
We are currently looking for players to participate in the selection process for this squad.
