Financial Support & Fundraising

As this is a user-paid program, athletes must cover significant costs for training, travel, and competition. This includes registration fees, transportation, and equipment. To help offset these costs, sponsorships and donations are essential to ensuring that all athletes have the opportunity to participate, regardless of their financial situation.

Sponsorship & Donations:

        • How Your Support Helps:
Donations directly fund athlete participation, including registration, travel expenses, and training. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant impact.
        • How to Donate:
Donations can be made easily via e-transfer to finance@footballmanitoba.com. Please include the athlete’s name in the comment section to ensure the donation is properly credited. (tax receipt not available)
        • No Contribution is Too Small:
Whether you can contribute a small amount or sponsor an entire athlete’s fees, your generosity ensures that talented players can pursue their athletic dreams.

Additional Athlete Support:

Benevolence Fund (Bursary):
For athletes who demonstrate financial need, the Benevolence Fund offers bursaries to help cover costs. The application process for the bursary begins in April 2025, and athletes can apply for assistance by submitting their financial information and a personal statement.

Citizenship Credit Program:
Athletes who cannot afford full registration fees may be eligible to participate in the Citizenship Credit Program, where they can earn volunteer hours at $30 per hour to reduce their fees.
