U16 WESTERN CHALLENGE

The Team Manitoba U16 program offers all member players age 14-15 the opportunity to experience true high performance training, and for those selected to represent our province, inter-provincial competition featuring the “best” U16 players across Canada from each province.
Our member players in Manitoba and North-Western Ontario are eligible to attend any of the training opportunities and selection camps.
Whether your interest is in representing Manitoba on the regional or national stage, or just to become a better player for your home program, all players will benefit from participating in the High Performance camp offerings along the way.
Each year, our U16 Team Manitoba travels to the Western Challenge tournament held in one of the four western provinces to compete against the “best players” from British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

COMMUNITY SPORT COACH WORKSHOP
8 hour course specifically for coaching young players with proper coaching methods for this age group.The Community Stream teaches coaches the fundamentals of football planning and team management. The skills you will learn are ideal for all volunteer coaches who have children who participate in football, or who wish to assist participants of all ages who are new to the sport.
